Timekeeping with Style
Are you a Toastmaster? Do you have trouble keeping your speaker’s on time? Maybe the speaker performed so flamboyantly you cannot focus on the timing itself. Or maybe you simply forget to press the right color at the right time.
This project is requested by a Toastmasters Club that is advancing from manual system to automated system. They need a timer that is simple enough for the public to use instinctively, and also robust enough to include all the features necessary.
So what does FlowTimer offer?
Powered by RGB LED strips, FlowTimer canbe programmed to switch to every color imaginable by the human eyes. Added with the fading feature, the user can choose how fast or slow the light fades in the settings
FlowTimer can keep up with all the demands the user requests, whether to set to manual mode, or with the standard 2 minutes, 3 minutes, 5 minutes, and 7 minutes. FlowTimer has it all with a few clicks on the number pad.
If you clicked too fast and missed recording your own timing, you can always go back to the history page to double check your timing. The history page has a memory of 7 timing just for that, to be added if more is needed.
Instinctive User Layout
You can do almost everything with the traditional number pad located at the bottom of the screen.
For added features, FlowTimer comes with manual timing light at the right side of the screen. This is mainly for manual mode purpose, and also when the Toastmasters need to demonstrate the timing light if needed.
Powered by USB Charger Port
You can turn the FlowTimer on with a simple power bank, or a USB charger. It’s low power consumption allows FlowTimer to be powered by a 5000mAh power bank for 12 hours straight.
